Due to anti-pandemic measures, the traditional date of the event (Saturday, 3 May) was postponed by the organizers in France to 14 November in spring 2020. However, as early as the autumn of autumn, it became clear that the epidemiological situation could worsen. A question mark already hung over the visit of “stone” cultural institutions in November.
The program of cooperating memory and cultural institutions offers a number of topics, where the focus is on a museum artifact or work of art and its presentation. And all in the form of virtual exhibitions annotated audio or video tours, curatorial guides, lectures, discussions, instructional videos, datasheets, game zones, quizzes, worksheets, etc., designed for all age groups of visitors.
The Theater Institute will take part in the Night of Museums and Galleries with interesting contributions from the exhibition A Century of Theatre – Traces and Stances, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of professional theater in Slovakia. Photos and short videos will also be available online, in which its curators will introduce you to their favorite or otherwise interesting exhibits. Those interested will be able to look at the brief history of Slovak theater at the https://theatre.sk/ exhibition, which will also be accessible in the digital environment.
