Survey on the impacts of the coronavirus on the cultural sector
Jakub Grosman from the Arts Management Department at the University of Economics presented the development of the research on the state of the cultural sector in association with COVID-19 in the broadcast of Czech Radio Vltava on 21 April.
New campaign of the National Theatre Drama
The National Theatre Drama has launched the campaign #kulturajenarod. It is a series of streamlined discussions, taking place every Thursday on the stage of the Estates Theatre. They deal with theatre and culture in the time of the coronavirus and the aftermath. You can watch it on the National Drama YouTube channel. The first discussion took place 23 April at 6 p.m., with Lenka Havlíková, the director of the X10 Theatre in Prague, Martin Glaser, the director of the National Theatre, and Petr Michálek, the director of the Municipal Theatre in Zlín. The topic of the discussion was the restart of the theatres after the quarantine, with Marta Ljubková, the chief dramaturge of the National Theatre Drama, as the moderator. Details here.
