Ukrainian Theatre Festival-Award “GRA”

Ukrainian Theater Festival-Award “GRA” (“Great Real Art”) is founded and organized by the National Union of Theater Actors of Ukraine. It is held annually. The main goal of the Festival-Award is to unite all theaters of the country and present their best achievements, promote national theatre art in all its genres, styles and forms, interaction of leading trends and stimulate the development of Ukrainian theatre competitive environment.

The shortlisted performances are judged by the international jury committee.

There are six general nominations: For the best dramatic performance; For the best play for children; For the best musical performance in the genre of opera / operetta / musical; For the best choreographic / ballet / plastic performance; For the best chamber performance (up to 150 spectators); For the best exploratory and experimental performance (at the intersection of theatrical / artistic genres).
